What is an escape room?

It’s a physical adventure game in which players must solve a series of puzzles and riddles within a given timeframe in order to escape from a set location. It is a hands-on, interactive, team-building activity. Imagine stepping onto the set of an adventure movie and you’ve been cast as the hero!

You might want to know…

Make sure your entire group has arrived by the designated arrival time. We operate on a tight schedule and there will likely be another group escaping after you. Because we need buffer time to re-set rooms between groups, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment if you arrive 10 minutes or longer after your designated arrival time.

Our rooms are most fun for ages 12 and up. They do not incorporate any horror or macabre elements, but can be quite thrilling. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants under 18 require a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

The best place to park is on the street nearby or in the public parking lot behind The Junction by the train tracks.

You can cancel your booking with a full refund up to 24 hours prior to your escape experience. If you must cancel within the final 24 hours, we cannot refund your payment, but will work with you to reschedule at no additional charge.

This room has advanced game play. If you enjoy history or are a Black Mountain native, you will love this room! Step back in time to catch a glimpse of the early days of our beloved town, with a few surprises along the way. . . best suited for 4 to 8 players.
